Making A Purchase

Making a purchase is simple. Just browse our Catalogue and click on any items you wish to buy, i.e. click the 'Add To Basket' tab, and they will be automatically added to your shopping cart. You can add or delete as many items as you wish. After you have completed your selection, click the 'Checkout Now' tab. You will then be able to check and confirm your order, before submitting the details required to process your order. Finally, you will be asked how you wish to pay for your purchases.

If you choose to pay with your credit/debit card, you will be requested to supply the details required to complete and authorize your transaction. This information is totally safe and secure and is encrypted in Barclaycards secure sector. Please remember, New Row Farm Nurseries will never see your credit/debit card details. Your card details are not stored on this site. You can be totally confident that your payment details will be safe and secure, whichever payment option you choose. If you hold a trade account with New Row Farm Nurseries, payment is against a monthly invoice, terms and conditions apply. To open a trade account, simply follow the on screen instructions when you register.

You can also pay by BACS payment, (business to business electronic bank payments). All the information required for these payment options are outlined in the payment sector as you process your order. Just follow the onscreen instructions to complete your purchase.

Orders are accepted and processed online after you have chosen your payment option. Orders will be released for despatch on receipt of confirmed cleared funds, as outlined in our Guarantee - Disclaimers Section.

No purchase will be accepted and no delivery will be completed, until all our security and anti-fraud prevention procedures have been implemented. We take internet fraud very seriously. Consequently, we have the latest anti-fraud safeguards in place and will pursue to prosecution any fraudulent orders received. Shipping And Handling

Standard UK mainland shipping charges are £6.95 per item, plus VAT. Goods are delivered in the UK using a courier delivery service.

Multi-purchase and bulk order shipping charges may be negotiated. Please email: newrowfarm.nurseries@virgin.net for a quotation before ordering. Certain bulky items, (e.g. Trees and Specimen Plants i.e. plants in larger pots), may be subject to a supplementary shipping charge. This additional carriage charge will be highlighted in the specific product listings, and will be included in the overall price. The supplementary shipping charge will be due for payment in addition to the normal shipping charge.

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship, and back ordered items are not charged until they are available to ship. Claims for goods received damaged in transit, must be notified to newrowfarmnurseries.co.uk within 3-days following delivery date. In the unlikely event your goods are damaged in transit, please email: newrowfarm.nurseries@virgin.net with full details.

Delivery Schedule

Orders will be released for delivery on action of confirmed cleared funds, and when our security and fraud prevention procedures have been processed.

UK mainland orders will be delivered within 14 business days, (i.e. excluding weekends and Bank Holidays), following receipt of cleared funds as outlined in our Guarantee Section. Back Orders

In the unlikely event that your order is not immediately available, it will be back ordered for you. You will be emailed with an estimated delivery date, or be offered a similar or alternative product, or you would have the option to cancel your order. The choice would be yours.

Tax Charges

17.5% VAT is added to all orders received from within the UK. A New Row Farm Nurseries VAT invoice will be emailed to you confirming that the transaction has been completed, as soon as confirmed cleared funds have been received. Our UK VAT Registration Number is: 353 9663 24

Returns Policy

Legal Compliance.

Our returns and refunds policy is in accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive (October 2000), and is part of UK law under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

The law applies to all transactions within the UK where a buyer, (i.e. a private individual), does not meet the seller, (i.e. New Row Farm Nurseries). This section covers purchases by an individual using the goods purchased for their own personal use. Contracts, (i.e. transactions/sales), between businesses purchasing from New Row farm Nurseries, are not governed by these specific regulations.

Your rights as a consumer/buyer, (i.e. a private individual).

In accordance with the law, (i.e. Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000), you have a 7-day 'cooling off' period, (i.e. 7-days from your confirmed delivery date), in which you have the right to cancel your purchase and receive a refund of the product price paid. Original delivery costs are non-refundable. You do not need to give a reason for cancelling your purchase. We are obliged to refund your payment within 30-days of your cancellation. The unwanted goods must be returned unopened. The carton/box must not have been opened and resealed. The goods, including the carton/box, must be in the condition you received it. The courier will not deliver damaged or open cartons/boxes to you. Cartons/boxes that have been opened and resealed will not be acceptable for return and subsequent refund. We must receive the goods within 7-days of your confirmed delivery date, as per the above Distance Selling Regulations. Signed and dated courier delivery notes will confirm the 7-day period for the return of unwanted goods.

How to cancel within the 7-day 'cooling off' period.

Should you wish to cancel your purchase within the 7-day 'cooling off' period, you must obtain a Returns Number in order to return your unwanted goods. Please tell us you wish to cancel your purchase, and that the goods you are returning comply with the conditions outlined above. We will require the following information: your name and address, the Barclaycard transaction ID, (if you paid by credit/debit card), and your newrowfarmnurseries.co.uk invoice/receipt number. If you did not pay by credit/debit card, please tell us which payment option you used. Should your request to return your purchase be accepted, you will be emailed a Returns Number in order that the return can be completed. Without a Returns Number, no goods can be accepted or processed for return. Any goods returned to New Row Farm and not complying with all aspects of the above, will not be accepted for return/refund, and will be returned to the sender at the sender's expense.

Refunds due to cancellation within the 7-day 'cooling off' period.

Should you cancel your purchase within the 7-day 'cooling off' period, we will refund the product price paid. Original delivery costs are non-refundable, and will be deducted from the original total price paid. If you paid by credit or debit card, i.e. through Barclaycard, your refund will be made directly to your credit or debit card, within 30-days of your cancellation. If you paid by any other means, you will receive a cheque payment. This will be posted to you within 30-days of your cancellation. There will be no charges levied for your cancellation within this 7-day 'cooling off' period.

Returning unwanted goods.

Under the terms of the regulations, (i.e. Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000), you have a 'duty of care' to ensure the goods are returned to us undamaged. You are responsible for the costs of returning unwanted goods. We recommend unwanted goods be returned using an insured courier service. Unwanted goods returned to us and received damaged, will not be accepted for return and refund. The goods will be returned to you, and any costs incurred by us for returning the damaged goods to you, will be charged to you. You would be responsible for contacting the courier you engaged to arrange an insurance claim. Any subsequent Insurance payment made to you by the courier and their insurers, (i.e. for unwanted goods retuned to New Row Farm Nurseries and damaged in transit), would be your full and final payment for the damaged goods. You would be responsible for all negotiations etc, should this situation arise.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
