A beautiful neat shrub with small green leaves closely arranged on reddish brown stems, and very pale lilac, almost sessile flowers which smother the plant in late April/May. This hebe only tends to grow to 20cm or so, and is one of the earliest to flower. It is a good choice for small tubs, raised beds, rockeries and front of border, associating well with other small plants.
